Features

All of Clokr, screen by screen.

The screens below reproduce the application as it is today, in French — the interface is also available in English and Portuguese. Every feature shown is in production.

01 · Clocking

One button. Start, then stop.

On a phone, tablet or computer, nothing to install. A break? Stop, then start again: a day can hold several sessions.

  • “Annuler” voids the running session — the void is recorded, never deleted.
  • A session left open from the day before is flagged — “Session non terminée” — and must be fixed before clocking again.
  • Two contract modes: fixed hours (expected, balance, running total) or hourly (hours worked).
  • The employer can clock their own hours from their workspace.

02 · My hours

Every day, readable. Every month, signed.

Employees see their days grouped by week, with daily and monthly balances. At the end of the month they review and confirm: the attestation is timestamped, the figures frozen.

  • They can correct a time range on a past day; each change is a new row pointing to the original.
  • Validation is refused if the month hasn’t ended, a session is open or a leave request is pending.
  • The employer counter-signs after validation. To correct, they reopen the month with a mandatory reason; the employee validates again.
  • Month statuses: pending, validated, counter-signed, under correction.

03 · Running balance and tolerance

Hours carry over. No year-end closing.

The running balance (“cumul”) is the continuous balance of signed months: hours over or under pass from one month to the next, per employee, from the month their tracking starts.

  • A signed month’s figures are frozen at signature; the running balance counts signed months only.
  • An optional internal tolerance band flags balances outside it — “Hors tolérance” shows on the dashboard.
  • The “À traiter” dashboard card lists months to counter-sign, employees still to validate and pending leave requests.
  • Every day the employer edits carries a “Modifié” badge; the history appears on the PDF attestation.

04 · Employer side

A dashboard that tells you what to do.

The team’s hours balance for the month, who is over, who is under, and what is waiting for you: nothing more, nothing less.

  • “Heures équipe”: worked, leave, expected, balance, public holidays and running balance per employee, with each person’s validation status.
  • One record per employee: profile, contract (permanent or fixed-term, occupation rate, working days, holiday days per year), access.
  • A temporary password is shown once, to hand over in person; a deactivated person keeps their full history.
  • Contract changes are kept in history and locked over signed months.

05 · Breaks — art. 15 LTr

The legal break, counted the way the law requires.

By default, a day clocked without a sufficient break is simply flagged. If you turn it on, Clokr deducts the legal minimum: 15, 30 or 60 minutes beyond 5½, 7 or 9 hours of work.

  • Deduction starts from a whole month, with an impact preview before you confirm.
  • Employees see the deduction day by day and can contest the day; signing the month confirms it.
  • Deducted breaks appear on the PDF attestation.

Limits — The specific rules for under-18s are not covered.

06 · Leave and public holidays

The holiday balance, in one line: days to take.

Entitlement is prorated from the contract, carry-over from one year to the next is automatic, and employees request their days from their phone.

  • Requests in whole days, with a live count that skips public holidays; statuses pending, approved, refused, cancelled.
  • Detailed balance: entitlement, carried over, corrections, taken, planned, remaining — and “data takeover” for balances predating Clokr.
  • Optional carry-over cap; corrections in hours, never edited, only reversed.
  • Public holidays entered per company (full or half day), credited on their own line and locked once the month is signed.
  • 14 standard Swiss leave types provided at the start; custom types possible.

Limits — No hourly or half-day leave; no cantonal public-holiday calendar import.

07 · Communications

A message to the team, and proof it was read.

A title, a text, an attachment if needed — to the whole team, a saved group or named people. Employees find it in the app, under the bell.

  • PDF, JPEG or PNG up to 4 MB; photos are compressed in the browser.
  • Drafts; publishing freezes the text and recipients. Retracting removes the file and keeps the record.
  • Automatic read receipts: opened, attachment opened, pending — per person.
  • Files are stored in a private space and served only to signed-in people.

Limits — No e-mail, no push notification: everything happens in the application.

08 · Languages and security

Three languages. One company per workspace.

Each person picks their interface language — French, English or Portuguese — and each company has its own workspace, logo and data.

  • Language per person or as the company default; 1,236 strings translated in each of the three languages.
  • A login page per company; password change required at first sign-in.
  • Company logo on the menus and on every PDF page.
  • Data isolated per company at the database level; geolocation, camera and microphone blocked by the browser.

Limits — The login page and the PDF attestation are in French.

09 · PDF attestation

The document that holds up in an inspection.

The working-hours attestation, as a PDF.

One document per employee, for a month or a range of months: each day’s clock-ins and outs, deducted breaks, public holidays, totals, the attestation and counter-signature dates, and the correction history. An unsigned month is marked “provisional document”. The same data always produces the same reference.

Generated on the employer side, in French. It cites art. 46 LTr and art. 73 OLT 1.
