Clokr

About

A direct line. Not an anonymous service.

Clokr is built in Fribourg by Kivus Dev — 15+ years in software, and a product built in direct contact with the teams that use it.

Why Clokr exists

Small businesses in French-speaking Switzerland — childcare centres and after-school care, salons, workshops, restaurants, shops — all live the same paradox: the law requires them to keep a precise working-time register for five years, but the tools on the market are designed for companies ten times their size, with modules billed separately and features nobody uses.

Clokr approaches the problem from the other end: what matters is not clocking in — it is being able to prove. Every month, every employee attests their hours. The employer counter-signs. Every correction is dated, justified and attributed. The register exists before anyone asks you for it.

How we work

No hotline, no tickets, no level 1. You talk directly to the team building Clokr. And getting started is simple: a fifteen-minute video call is enough to configure your contracts, workloads and starting balances — and we stay available afterwards.

And because we know what you’re thinking when you entrust five years of records to a vendor: your data belongs to you. You can get it back whenever you want, in an open format — and that portability is written in black and white in the terms of service. If Clokr disappeared tomorrow, your five years of records would not disappear with it.

One more thing, said plainly: the application interface is currently in French — the working language of the teams Clokr is built for. Support is available in English and French.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in Switzerland.

The database is located in the Zurich region. Application processing takes place in Europe (Frankfurt). No data is processed outside the European Economic Area or Switzerland. Data processing agreements are signed and available on request.

The full list of sub-processors is public and dated: clokr.app/en/subprocessors.
